The Citizens Election Project, funded by The Pew Charitable Trusts through the University of Maryland School of Journalism, assisted five media partnerships as they sought to apply the principles of civic journalism to their coverage of the upcoming presidential election campaign. The five partnerships, which are continuing to focus on election issues, are:

  • WUSF-FM explores the issues of concern to Florida voters

    • Iowa "The Citizens Caucus"

  • The Wisconsin State Journal discuss the Iowa caucus
